Eisenhower Elementary

Students have been dropping off their used books in preparation for the Jan. 25 Used Book Exchange. Students obtain books from the exchange with the credits they receive from donating.

Lincoln Elementary

Parents viewed student artwork and bid on canvas paintings and painted frames created by each grade at the Lincoln Art Auction and Gallery Night from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 23.

Longfellow Middle School

Incoming sixth-grade registration will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 30.

Mercy Academy

Middle school students saw 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,' with the fifth- and sixth-grade students having read the book before the screening. The seventh- and eight-grade students read 'The Fellowship of the Ring,' 'The Two Towers' and 'Return of the King,' also by J.R.R. Tolkien.

St. Joseph

The open house ice cream social will be held for 3-year-old kindergarten through eighth-grade students from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Jan. 31.

St. Jude the Apostle

Winterfest, sponsored by the Home and School Association, will take place from noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 27. Children's wristbands will cover many costs and are available for $10. Dinners will be offered as well as concession fare and sundaes.

Wauwatosa East High

An Advanced Placement parent and student information meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 31.

Wauwatosa STEM

Senior kindergartners and first-graders saw a performance of 'Mole House' at the First Stage Children's Theatre in correlation to their yearly author study Jan. 22.

Wauwatosa West High

Private and parochial incoming student registration was held at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 24.

Whitman Middle

Whitman Activity Center will be open to the sixth grade at 7 p.m. Jan. 25.
