Christ King

Thursday, June 5, is uniform resale day from 6 to 8 p.m. Don't forget before the last day of school on Friday.

Eisenhower Elementary

Field Day, Thursday, June 5, will feature various "movement" activities, such as relay events and organized games, including kickball and flag frenzy.

Jefferson Elementary

A student concert and fifth-grade promotion ceremony will take place Thursday, June 5, at 7 p.m.

Lincoln Elementary

The 15th annual junior kindergarten art show takes place Thursday, June 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. and again 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. The show's theme is based on Dr. Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish."

Madison Elementary

Fifth grade celebration takes place Wednesday, June 11 from 1 to 2 p.m.

McKinley Elementary

First- through fifth-graders will participate in organized games on the school playground for Field Day, Thursday, June 5, which will take place all day outside.

Roosevelt Elementary

The Final Battle of the Books will be a fun and educational activity for teachers and students Friday, June 6, at 1:30 p.m. To prepare for the competition, student members from five teams each read at least six books from a selected list. The students will "battle" for a trophy by answering questions about the books they read.

Underwood Elementary

Junior kindergartners took a field trip to Green Meadows Farm on Wednesday, June 4, in Waterford to tour the farm, learn about farm animals firsthand and take a hayride.

Washington Elementary

Families will enjoy an evening of socializing and fun activities at the Fun Fair sponsored by the PTA on Friday, June 6, at 5 p.m.

Wauwatosa East High

The final Parents for Equity Meeting of the year will be Thursday, June 5, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at East in the Library. The committee will look at goals and vision of the group for next year. Please contact Jessica Adesuyi at (414) 773-1333 for questions, concerns or more information.

Wauwatosa Montessori

The Upper Elementary students will be presenting the musical play, "You Can Be What You Want to Be: The Life of Maria Montessori" from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday, June 12. Following the performance, there will be a simple picnic dinner of hot dogs, veggie dogs, apples, carrots and lemonade from 6 to 7 p.m. The Upper Elementary families will be providing a dessert buffet. More information will be communicated at a later date.

Wilson / STEM

Fifth-graders will compete with staff members in the annual friendly game of softball Friday, June 6.

Wauwatosa West High

Juniors concluded their "Public Policy Issue Investigations" unit as part of the American Public Policy curriculum at the Junior Class Issue Fair on Wednesday, June 4. Issues range from local to state and national topics of concern to the students. The students will present their proposed solutions to their investigations.

Wauwatosa Catholic

Wauwatosa Catholic School has been authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, becoming the first Catholic school authorized. There are only 6 authorized schools in the state of Wisconsin.

Wilson Elementary

Senior kindergartners and second-graders took a field trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Wednesday, June 4.
