Eisenhower Elementary

A school skate night will be held at Incredi-roll from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. Half of the admission price for each school family member who attends will be donated to the PTA. Admission is $4.50 and includes skate rental.

Jefferson Elementary

The school variety show will be held at 7 p.m. March 30.

Lincoln Elementary

The school's family dance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Longfellow Middle

The Children's Theatre of Wauwatosa Little Theatres will perform "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" at 7:30 p.m. March 22 and 23 at the school. The shows are free and open to the public. The cast consists of children in grades three through seven who completed the Children's Theatre of Wauwatosa drama classes.

Madison Elementary

Parents of students in kindergarten through grade five will have an opportunity to discuss school issues with Principal Lori Lester during a Principal's Coffee on March 22.

McKinley Elementary

High Interest Day will give students an opportunity to attend a variety of fun and educational presentations Friday.

Mercy Academy

Mercy Academy celebrated Pi Day with games and contests related to the mathematical constant. All students participated in a hula-hoop contest because pi is related to the concept of circumference. Faculty and students concluded the Pi Day celebration by enjoying pie of a different sort - slices of apple, blueberry, lemon, pumpkin, and cookies and cream pie.

Our Redeemer Lutheran

The first-graders led the school chapel this week as they shared all the colors of God's love in words and pictures.

St. Joseph

St. Joseph School is accepting registration for students in 3-year-old kindergarten through grade eight for the 2012-13 school year. If you are interested in having a personal tour of the school, call the school office at (414) 771-4626, Ext. 120.

St. Jude

As part of each grade's commitment to service, the fourth-grade class organized a book drive to benefit Children's Hospital. The entire school community contributed gently used books to be enjoyed by patients and their families. In other news, St. Jude was well-represented at the National History Day Regional competition held recently at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Underwood Elementary

The first-graders will take a field trip to the Wauwatosa Public Library on Friday to learn about its resources, and then a trip to Sendik's to learn about the community.

Wauwatosa Catholic

School families began collecting "Pennies for Patients" during Catholic Schools week. A check in the amount of $1,000 was presented to a representative from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during an Awards/Honors Assembly last week.

Wauwatosa East High

The Northern Illinois University Jazz Ensemble, directed by Ron Carter, featured a special musical homecoming for jazz trumpeter and Grammy-winner Brian Lynch on March 21. The Tosa East Jazz Ensemble I was the opening act. Proceeds benefited the Wauwatosa East High School band program.

Wauwatosa STEM

Senior kindergarten through fifth-grade students saw a performance of "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" at First Stage Children's Theatre. The performance supplemented the classroom literacy curriculum and fine arts.

Wauwatosa West High

The school multicultural fair will be held at 6 p.m. March 29.

Wilson Elementary

The first-graders saw a performance of "Henry & Mudge" at the Milwaukee Area Technical College Cooley Auditorium on Wednesday.
