Christ King

The spring concert took place at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Eisenhower Elementary

Second-graders attended a program about the moon on Monday at the Gary E. Sampson Planetarium at Wauwatosa West High School. The program supplemented classroom studies of the moon's phases and its place in the solar system.

Jefferson Elementary

Family fun night will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16.

Lincoln Elementary

Third-graders will visit the Gary E. Sampson Planetarium at Wauwatosa West High School today, May 15.

Longfellow Middle

Family night for parents of students in special education took place Tuesday. This event was for incoming sixth-graders.

Madison Elementary

Students will enjoy High Interest Day activities all day Friday, May 16.

McKinley Elementary

Parents and guardians were able to enjoy the music of the school's band, chorus and orchestra during a concert in the gym Tuesday. It was a great opportunity for parents to see, and hear, the results of their child's efforts this year.

Our Redeemer Lutheran

On Wednesday, eighth-graders took a field trip to Chicago for the day. The lower grades are having a field day Friday, May 16.

Roosevelt Elementary

Fourth-graders learned about the ecosystem and the living and non-living components of woodland, wetland and grassland environments at the Wehr Nature Center on Tuesday.

St. John

Evangelical Lutheran

A farewell reception for Mrs. Lindenberg and Mrs. Totsky, who are wrapping up their service to St. John's at the end of the school year, will be held after the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, May 18, in the church fellowship hall. Anyone who cannot attend the reception but would like to offer well wishes can place a card in the box located in the school office or church narthex.

St. Joseph

Friday, May 16, is grandparent and VIP day at the school. All students are able to invite someone special to them to share the school day with them. The seventh-grade folk fair will be Friday, May 23.

St. Jude the Apostle

Students took part in the annual May Crowning ceremony May 7, and students who recently had their First Communion were able to take Eucharist with their schoolmates for the first time. Today, May 15, is the St. Jude art show. An all-school Mass with grandparents and special friends will be held at 8:15 a.m. A veterans' prayer service will be held at 2:15 p.m. May 20.

Underwood Elementary

Junior kindergartners took a field trip to the Milwaukee County Zoo on Wednesday to learn about animals that are native to Wisconsin.

WSTEM

Thursday, May 22, Wilson and W/STEM students will participate in High Interest Day.

Washington Elementary

Senior Kindergarten African Market takes place today, May 16. Baked goods, jewelry, crafts and trinkets will be for sale. All proceeds will benefit "Nothing But Nets," an organization that provides mosquito nets for children living in areas affected by malaria.

Wauwatosa East High

The Arts & Crafts Fair on Saturday, May 17, will feature a variety of items for sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Best Buddies Wisconsin High Schools program. Best Buddies High Schools pairs students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in one-to-one friendships with high school students. Best Buddies High Schools also offers students a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills. With the support of school faculty and Best Buddies staff, students lead and direct the chapters in their schools.

Wauwatosa Montessori

Bring your recyclable items to school Saturday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for this special fundraising event. A bake sale and lemonade stand will be available for treats after donations are made.

Wauwatosa West High

Honor awards night took place at 6:30 p.m. Monday for students and parents.

Whitman Middle

The all-grade band concert took place on Wednesday.

Wilson Elementary

Thursday, May 22, Wilson and W/STEM students will participate in High Interest Day.
