Christ King

The fourth-grade class will have its gift-gathering Saturday. Parents are asked to donate what they would spend on a night out to the school. The proceeds will go to the school's yearly auction. For information, call (414)-258-4160.

Jefferson Elementary

Third-graders went to Hawthorne Terrace on Nov. 28. They have a partnership with the residents at Hawthorne Terrace and participated in reading activities. This is part of a monthly reading event that started in October and will continue until May.

Longfellow Elementary

The school will host multiple boys basketball games from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 and Dec. 4. The poms cheerleading program will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 and Dec. 4.

Our Redeemer Lutheran

Students are participating in a Christmas music program, complete with a band and handbell concert, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in the gym. The handbell group is made up of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders, and the band members are in grades five through eight. Holiday carols and Christmas songs will be performed. Also, classrooms are participating in three Christmas music programs running through December.

Roosevelt Elementary

There will be no class Dec. 3. The school took part in a book sale the week of Nov. 26.

St. Joseph

The holiday bake sale will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 1. Cookies, candies and other baked goods of many sizes will be offered. There will be opportunities to win holiday-themed gift baskets.

St. Jude the Apostle

A cookie walk will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 in the school cafeteria. More than 15,000 homemade Christmas cookies will be available for purchase by the pound. Free hot chocolate will be offered, and a visit from Santa Claus is expected.

Underwood Elementary

The Santa's breakfast slated for Dec. 1 has been canceled. The junior kindergarten through grade two sing-along will be held Dec. 10.

Washington Elementary

Santa and Mrs. Claus will join families for a breakfast of pancakes, sausage links and beverages from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 1.

Wauwatosa Catholic

The Learner Profile 'Reflective' is the theme for November; students will be thinking about what they have learned, what they are good at and where improvement is needed.

Wauwatosa East High

The choir concert will take place at the school at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5.

Wauwatosa Montessori

Parent education night will take place Dec. 5. Parents will learn about the Montessori philosophy. For information, call (414) 773-3305.

Wauwatosa STEM

The Governing Council will meet at 6 p.m. Dec. 5.

Wauwatosa West High

The PLAN Test will take place during hours one through four Nov. 29.

Whitman Middle School

The orchestra will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 13.
