BURGLARY

1Two laptop computers, two televisions, a game system and other electronics, in total worth $3,380, were taken from a home in the 1300 block of North 64th Street between 1 and 3:50 p.m. Nov. 29. The burglars smashed a window to gain entry.

2An intruder entered an apartment in the 12000 block of West Bluemound Road and moved around items in the home between Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. It was apparent the apartment had been broken into via an unlocked window. Nothing was stolen.

3A homeowner found a man in his house in the 4100 block of North 99th Street trying to take his television at 5:02 p.m. Dec. 1. The homeowner yelled at the man to get out and the man told him to get out. The thief then said he would kill or shoot the homeowner and left. The thief didn't have a weapon and was unable to take anything.

THEFT

4A 12-year-old's savings account was used without permission to pay phone bills between July 16 and Nov 20. The mother called the police and found that the account had three withdraws, for a total of $350, that she didn't make.

5An illegal cable TV connector was used in the 6400 block of W. North Avenue to steal cable from Sept. 24 to Oct. 17. This is the second time an illegal cable connector was found. Time Warner capped the connection twice, but incurred a loss of $70 per month.

6A 23-year-old Janesville woman was arrested for taking underwear and a sweatsuit worth $325 from Victoria's Secret at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:50 p.m. Nov. 26. She ran past mall security and was caught in the parking lot by a police officer.

7A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking four packages of cologne worth $326 from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:37 p.m. Nov. 26. When stopped, she blamed the two people she was with for stealing the items. She had one warrant for retail theft and 14 prior arrests, eight of which are for retail theft.

8A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for taking two pairs of jeans worth $136 from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:27 p.m. Nov. 26. The man is currently on probation and has prior arrests for robbery and recklessly endangering safety.

9A tablet computer, GPS navigation system, clothes and other items worth $1,270 were taken from a jeep in the 10000 block of Innovation Drive between 9:35 and 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27.

10A 39-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for taking $856 worth of items from the Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:38 a.m. Nov. 27. The woman had her baby with her. She took four sets of baby clothes and put them on a counter, exchanging one and putting the rest in her baby stroller.

11A woman reported her license plate stolen from her car at 3:33 p.m. Nov. 28 while it was either in the 4100 block of North 100th Street or at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road.

12Two Milwaukee girls, ages 14 and 16, were arrested for taking $105 worth of clothes and a purse from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 28. One of the girls said she stole the items so she could give them to her mother as birthday presents.

13A Milwaukee man reported his license plate taken from his car at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 7 a.m. Nov. 29 and 10 a.m. Nov. 30. The front plate was taken but the back plate was left on.

14An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking $217 worth of jewelry and children's clothing from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 7:02 p.m. Nov. 29. The woman had $203 worth of stolen merchandise from three other stores as well.

15A man stole five bottles of liquor worth $123 from CVS Pharmacy, 7520 W. Bluemound Road, at 4:08 p.m. Nov. 30. He was identified by employees as having stolen from CVS before but left before they could stop him.

15Two Milwaukee women, ages 19 and 20, were arrested for taking $628 worth of clothes from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:56 p.m. Nov. 30. The two said they went to the mall to fill out job applications and that they were stealing clothes for their children.

16Two men tried taking $272 worth of groceries from Pick 'n Save, 1717 N. Mayfair Road, at 2:38 p.m. Dec. 1. One was stopped by employees in the parking lot while he was trying to find where his accomplice parked. The employees took the groceries and the two subjects fled.

17A cellphone valued at $800 was taken from U.S. Cellular, 2525 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:50 p.m. Dec. 1. The phone was attached to the case by its back plate, which was removed.

Police responded to one theft of items valued at less than $100 this week.

DRUG POSSESSION

18An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for possession of marijuana after he dropped a bag containing 1.13 grams of the drug in the hallway of Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 27.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

19A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, at the intersection of Bluemound Road and 113th Street at 3:19 a.m. Nov. 27. The vehicle's plate light was out and the registration was expired. The driver was not a legal United States citizen. His blood-alcohol content was 0.09.

ACCIDENTS

20A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to Froedtert Hospital after he was rear-ended by a 36-year-old Wauwatosa man in the 11100 block of West Center Street at 8:08 a.m. Nov. 16. The Wauwatosa man said that he was watching a student walking close to the curb and merged into the other lane to avoid hitting the student when he hit the second vehicle.

21A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital after a car hit the vehicle she was riding in the 2200 block of North 60th Street at 10:44 a.m. Nov. 16. The second vehicle hit the side of the first vehicle and sped off. Police were able to track the second vehicle down and issue the driver with a ticket.

OTHER

22A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Walmart Market, 3850 N. 124th St., at 3:23 p.m. Nov. 27. The bill had a Lincoln watermark, which is found on $5 bills.

23A counterfeit $100 bill was passed at Sentry Foods, 6700 W. State Street, at 4:45 p.m. Nov. 27. The bill had a hologram of Abraham Lincoln on it, which is only found on $5 bills.

24A 22-year-old Milwaukee man is suspected of passing a fake check for $1,500 at Guaranty Bank, 6700 W. State St., at 12:51 p.m. Nov. 28. The bank tried to contact him multiple times, but he hasn't returned their calls.

25A South Milwaukee man found eight seemingly random driver's licenses lying on the sidewalk at the intersection of West Congress Street and North Mayfair Road at 1:25 p.m. Dec. 1. Seven of the licenses were expired.

26A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for trespassing after he was found sleeping in a truck at Currie Park Auto, 10745 W. Capitol Drive, at 1:26 a.m. Dec. 2. The man had been warned about sleeping in vehicles before and said he was homeless and had nowhere else to go.

27 Employees of Wisconsin Athletic Club, 8700 W. Watertown Plank Road, called police after a recently-fired employee said that he was going to "bring everyone down" with him at 9:19 a.m. Dec. 3. The man told police that the conversation wasn't true.

28A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was sent to Froedtert Hospital after a lift fell on his right leg at Mt. Zion Church, 12012 W. North Ave., at 9:19 a.m. Dec. 3. The man was moving it on a ramp when he slipped and fell, causing the lift to crash onto his leg.
