BURGLARY

1A door was broken in an attempt to burglarize a home in the 6300 block of West Wisconsin Avenue between 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2 and 6:40 p.m. Feb. 6.

2A television, computer and jewelry were taken from a home in the 2100 block of North 67th Street between 5:05 and 8:35 p.m. Feb. 4. Loss is estimated at $4,105. A glass window in a door was smashed by the thief in order to enter the home.

THEFT

3A man and woman took six videogames from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 3:36 p.m. Jan. 13. Loss is estimated at $360. They removed security locks on the items with special keys. They are suspected of also taking games from Oak Creek, Brookfield and Fond du Lac stores.

4A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for destroying a pair of jeans in an attempt to take them from Buckle at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:58 p.m. Feb. 1. She ripped the sensor tag from the $100 pair of jeans and left them in the changing room.

5A 17-year-old Milwaukee boy had his wallet, phone and headphones taken from him by four males while he was at Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 2. He was not threatened or attacked; loss is estimated at $80.

6A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for taking jewelry while being an employee of Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:04 p.m. Feb. 2. Surveillance footage shows her ringing up the items without paying for them.

7A woman's wallet was stolen while she shopped at Sentry, 6700 W. State St., at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 3. She believes the wallet was taken from her purse, which she left in her shopping cart. Loss is estimated at $60.

8A 59-year-old Pewaukee woman was arrested for taking underwear and face cream from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:48 p.m. Feb. 4. Loss is estimated at $170.

9A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for taking $115 worth of clothing from Forever 21 and Hollister, both inside Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:18 p.m. Feb. 4. The girl had a foil-lined bag, which she tried to use to get the stolen items passed security gates.

10A 1999 Jeep Cherokee, valued at $1,800, was taken from a driveway in the 6600 block of West Garfield Avenue between 10 p.m. Feb. 4 and 7 a.m. Feb. 5. The jeep found later that day, with its engine running, in an alley in the 2200 block of South Layton Boulevard.

11A man stole $521 worth of jeans from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 11:12 a.m. Feb. 5. He was able to run out of the store before he was caught.

12A phone valued at $200 was taken from a locker at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 6.

13An iPad and case were taken from a room at Extended Stay Hotel, 11121 W. North Ave., between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 7. Loss is estimated at $730.

14A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking a jacket valued at $195 from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:48 p.m. Feb. 7. He is on probation for armed robbery, battery and use of a weapon in a crime.

15A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking $159 worth of clothes from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:23 p.m. Feb. 7. He tried running from mall security officers but was caught by police in the parking lot.

16A car's window was smashed and a GPS unit taken from it while it was parked at Mayfair mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 3:15 and 4:40 p.m. Feb. 9. Damage is estimated at $1,500.

17A 47-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking 10 pairs of socks and a leather bag from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:02 p.m. Feb. 9. The items are valued at $274.

Police responded to seven thefts of items valued at less than $100 this week.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 24-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after driving through a flashing red light at 68th Street and Wisconsin Avenue at 12:02 a.m. Feb. 4. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.21.

VANDALISM

19A car's tire was slashed while it was parked in a driveway in the 2300 block of North 86th Street between 6 p.m. Feb. 1 and noon Feb. 2. Damage is estimated at $250.

OTHER

20A bag containing white, rock-like substances was found at Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 9 p.m. Feb. 3.

21A stolen vehicle was found with its engine running in the alley in the 2400 block of North 64th Street at 12:28 a.m. Feb. 5. The ignition was punched out. Attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful.

22A 16-year-old Wauwatosa girl was arrested for fighting at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., at 6:34 p.m. Feb. 8.
