BURGLARY

1Two televisions and a laptop computer were taken from a home in the 2400 block of North 66th Street between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 14. Loss is estimated at $3,600. The back door was pried open in the break-in.

2A snowblower valued at $200 was taken from an open garage in the 11000 block of West Hadley Street between 9 and 10 a.m. Jan. 14.

3About $44 was taken from a home in the 2500 block of Swan Boulevard between 1 and 6 p.m. Jan. 16. There were no signs of forced entry. Police are following up with a suspect.

4Furniture was broken and cash taken from Express Drug Screening, 2525 N. Mayfair Road, before 8 a.m. Jan. 17. The back door was pried open. Loss is estimated at $1,000.

THEFT

A Wauwatosa man reported that his wife's checks had been stolen and used in Beaver Dam between Dec. 20 and Jan. 14. Six checks were fraudulently written, for amounts between $20 and $77.

5A woman's wallet and checkbook were stolen as she shopped at Pick 'n Save, 1717 N. Mayfair Road, Jan. 4. Two checks were used fraudulently, one for a $375 purchase and the other for a $700 purchase.

6A woman reported her cellphone is missing since she visited Christian Fellowship Church, 4400 N. Mayfair Road, between 6 and 9 p.m. Jan. 6. She may have lost it, but believes a boyfriend of a classmate may have taken the $500 phone.

7A purse was taken from an unlocked car outside Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, between 6 and 7 p.m. Jan. 14.

8Bags were taken from a car outside Starbucks, 151 N. Mayfair Road, between 8:20 p.m. Jan. 14 and 1 a.m. Jan. 15. A window was shattered to gain entry. Loss is estimated at $310.

9A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl and a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman were arrested for being part of a group that left without paying for a $75 meal at Applebee's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:16 p.m. Jan. 15.

10Two 15-year-old Milwaukee girls and one 17-year-old Fond du Lac girl were arrested for taking two cellphones, a total value of $200, from Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:12 p.m. Jan. 15. They threw the phones over a fence when they realized officers were following them.

11A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking $344 worth of clothing from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:40 p.m. Jan. 15. He said he took the items so he could sell them to get some rent money.

12A man living in the 10100 block of West Courtland Avenue reported at 8:07 a.m. Jan. 16 that his mail had been stolen.

13A wallet containing $106 and ID cards was taken from ERMC Housekeeping at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:31 p.m. Jan. 16.

14A license registration sticker was cut from a license plate in the parking lot at 10700 W. Research Drive between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 17.

15A catalytic converter was cut from a vehicle in the 9400 block of West Congress Street between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 17. Loss and damage is estimated at $900.

16A catalytic converter was cut off an SUV in the 10000 block of West Innovation Drive between 1:30 and 6 p.m. Jan. 17. Loss and damage is estimated at $1,350.

17A man with gold teeth stole $15 from a tip jar at Five Guys at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 7 p.m. Jan. 17.

18The registration sticker was cut from a license plate in the 10700 block of West Innovation Drive between 7:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 18.

19The registration sticker was cut from a license plate in the 10700 block of West Research Drive between 7:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 18.

20A wallet was stolen from a locker at the Medical College of Wisconsin Spine Clinic, 1155 N. Mayfair Road, between 11 a.m. and noon Jan. 18. The wallet contained cash and credit cards.

21A $270 pair of sunglasses was taken from Solstice at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:45 p.m. Jan. 18.

22A space heater and memorial letter were taken from a vehicle outside the Crowne Plaza, 10499 Innovation Drive, between 5:45 and 11:18 p.m. Jan. 19. A window was shattered to gain entry.

Police responded to two thefts of items valued at less than $100 this week.

DRUG POSSESSION

23A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on a Calumet County Sheriff's Department warrant in the 2500 block of North Mayfair Road at 9:18 p.m. Jan. 18. He was searched once at the station, and police found the 1.89 grams of marijuana on him, leading to a citation for drug possession.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

24A 37-year-old Greendale woman was arrested for drunken driving and drug possession after hitting a tree in the 100 block of Glenview Avenue at 3:13 a.m. Jan. 20. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.11, and there were two bags of marijuana as well as a pipe, grinder and scale in her vehicle.

VANDALISM

25A home's window was cracked in the 10400 block of West Melvina Street between Jan. 5 and Jan. 18. Damage is estimated at $900.

26A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for graffiti and obstructing an officer after he was found with paint on his hands near fresh graffiti in the 10900 block of West Potter Road at 4:40 a.m. Jan. 16.

27Racist words were written on three cars parked in a driveway in the 4700 block of Parkside Drive between midnight and 5 a.m. Jan. 17.

Police responded to two domestic disturbances this week.
