BURGLARY

1Snacks and beverages worth $20 were taken from the refrigerator at the Gammex building, 10437 Innovation Drive, between 3 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8 a.m. Aug. 17.

2A bicycle and other items were taken from a garage and an unlocked car in the 2200 block of North 60th Street between 8 p.m. Aug. 16 and 5:15 a.m. Aug. 17. Loss is estimated at $675.

3Items valued at $250 were taken from a garage and car in the 7700 block of Livingston Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 17. The garage door opener also was taken.

4A bicycle and other items were taken from an open garage in the 2600 block of North 62nd Street between 12:45 and 1:45 p.m. Aug. 17. Loss is estimated at $184.

5A laptop valued at $200 was taken from a house in the 4700 block of North 104th Street between 1 p.m. Aug. 17 and 3:50 a.m. Aug. 20. The window, valued at $200, was smashed.

6A bicycle valued at $450 was taken from a garage in the 2500 block of North 66th Street between 5:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 10 a.m. Aug. 18. The garage window was smashed.

7A bicycle valued at $500 was taken from an unlocked garage in the 8400 block of West Clarke Street between 11 a.m. Aug. 18 and 1 p.m. Aug. 19.

THEFT

8A pack of cigarettes, a Zippo lighter and $300 were taken from a man at the bus stop at North Ave and Mayfair Road between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. Aug. 5.

9Two pairs of sunglasses were taken from the Solstice at Mayfair between 5:30 and 5:40 p.m. Aug. 11. Loss is valued at $434.

10A vehicle's windows were smashed and a CD player was taken from a locked car in the 7400 block of West Center Street between 5 p.m. Aug. 12 and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13.

11A Milwaukee man was arrested after trying to take $250 from Macy's at the Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:32 p.m. Aug. 12.

12A cellphone and cashed valued between $160 and 190 were taken from Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Church, 2160 N. Wauwatosa Ave., between 11 a.m. and noon Aug. 13. The cash was taken from the collection plate.

13A woman's wallet was taken from her purse while shopping at Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 13.

14A wallet and its contents were taken from a woman while she shopped at the Sendik's, 8616 W. North Ave. at 2:37 p.m. Aug. 13. Six fraudulent transactions were made with her credit card.

15A woman had her purse taken from outside of Picture Perfect at Mayfair between 2:50 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13. The purse was found at the Lady's Foot Locker but $490 worth of valuables and the woman's credit card were missing.

16A woman's bicycle, valued at $600, was taken from a driveway in the 2400 block of North 96th Street at 5:12 p.m. Aug. 13.

17A 17-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for stealing $117 worth of clothing from the Macy's at Mayfair at 8:26 p.m. Aug. 14.

18A car was damaged in an apparent theft attempt in the 7200 block of West Center Street between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 1:51 p.m. Aug. 15. Damage is estimated at $1,000.

19An envelope containing $500 was taken from a table at the Cheesecake Factory, 2350 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:33 p.m. Aug. 15.

20A woman's purse and its contents were taken from a locked car in the Mayfair parking lot between 11:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16. Loss is estimated at $565.

21A bicycle, valued at $450, was taken from outside a garage in the 2500 block of North 71st Street between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Aug. 16.

22A box of catheters was taken from a doorstep in the 6500 block of Powell Place between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 16.

23An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking $172 worth of clothing from Hollister at Mayfair at 4 p.m. Aug. 16. She used a foil-lined bag to try to avoid setting off the sensors.

24Items valued at $735 were taken from a vehicle at the Tosa Pool at Hoyt Park, 1800 N. Swan Blvd., at 3:12 p.m. Aug. 17. The vehicle's window, valued at $400, was shattered.

25Two Milwaukee women, ages 17 and 20, were arrested for taking a pair of sunglasses from Solstice at Mayfair at 2:19 p.m. Aug. 18.

26A laptop valued at $1,500 was taken from a man's bag while he was attending a conference at the Crowne Plaza, 10499 Innovation Drive, between 12:45 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 19.

27A GPS valued at $125 was taken from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway in the 2500 block of North 63rd Street between 11 p.m. Aug. 19 and 7 a.m. Aug. 20.

28A locked Dodge Stratus was taken from the parking lot at Lutheran Home for the Aging, 7500 W. North Ave., between 8:15 p.m. Aug. 20 and 6:15 a.m. Aug. 21.

29A GPS, MP3 player and cash were taken from two unlocked cars in the 2400 block of North 62nd Street at 6:46 a.m. Aug. 21. Loss is estimated at $390.

The Wauwatosa Police Department responded to seven thefts of items valued at less than $100 in the past week.

ASSAULT

30A 25-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for battery in the 8000 block of Stickney Avenue at 3 p.m. Aug. 14.

31A 16-year-old Wauwatosa boy was arrested for battery in the 1900 block of North 116th Street at 9:32 p.m. Aug. 14.

DRUG POSSESSION

32A 17-year-old Wauwatosa woman and an 18-year-old Wauwatosa man were arrested after police found six capsules of ecstasy and two grams of marijuana at the corner of Menomonee River Parkway and Keefe Avenue at 11:39 p.m. Aug. 17.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

33A 31-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 0 block of Livingston Avenue at 2:11 a.m. Aug. 15. After failing the field sobriety test, she said "Can you just end it?" Her blood-alcohol content was 0.19.

34A 72-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a light pole and a vehicle at the corner of 76th Street and Wisconsin Avenue at 5:36 p.m. Aug. 17.

ACCIDENTS

35A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to West Allis Memorial hospital after a 68-year-old Brookfield woman ran a red light, striking his car and causing it to hit an SUV at 124th and Feerick streets at 3:50 p.m. Aug. 16.

36A 4-year-old girl was taken to Froedtert Hospital after a USPS minivan struck her in the 20 block of North 65th Street on Aug. 18.

VANDALISM

37Four Wauwatosa men, ages 18, 19, 21 and 22, were arrested for opening a fire hydrant and running from police in the 7300 block of Chestnut Street at 3:01 a.m. Aug. 15.

38A large urn valued at $200 was broken at the Wauwatosa Women's Club, 1626 Wauwatosa Ave., between 12:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8:46 a.m. Aug. 17.

OTHER

39A clerk found a counterfeit $10 bill after closing Walgreens, 10800 W. Capitol Drive., at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 5. The bill didn't have a security strip or watermarks.

40A woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital after she attempted to cut her wrists in the parking lot at Mayfair at 11:32 a.m. Aug. 10.

41An employee of Puhl's True Value Hardware, 1525 N. 68th St., reported a counterfeit $20 bill was used for a transaction at 11:37 a.m. Aug. 13. The customer used his credit card after finding out the bill was a fake and said he had no idea the bill was counterfeit.

42A customer received a counterfeit $10 bill from the Subway at Mayfair at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13. The bill didn't have a security strip.

43A man was bitten by a white German Shepherd in the 10000 block of West Garfield Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14. The bite broke the skin, but the victim believes it was an accident and is not seeking prosecution.

44An employee of Focus Credit Union, 1530 N. 68th St., recovered a counterfeit $20 bill between 9 a.m. and noon Aug. 15.

45A woman reported a man showed her his penis while slowly driving past her at the corner of Wright and 82nd streets at 10:14 a.m. Aug. 16. She reported the man turned around and drove past again while masturbating.
