BURGLARY

1A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking a bracelet and a ring after breaking into an apartment in the 12200 block of West North Avenue between midnight and 2 a.m. March 13. The resident had left the apartment to get mail from the front lobby. The resident told police the jewelry was mostly of sentimental value.

2A massage business and three dental offices in the 10400 block of West North Avenue were broken into between 5:43 and 6:35 a.m. March 14. Nothing was reported missing.

3Three health care offices in the 1000 block of North Mayfair Road were broken into between 7:20 and 7:50 a.m. March 14. An unspecified amount of cash was taken.

THEFT

4A 16-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for taking a digital camera valued at $100 from Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:38 p.m. March 14.

5A softball bat valued at $150 and a bandanna were taken from two vehicles, one parked in a garage and the other in a driveway, in the 2300 block of North 65th Street between 11:30 p.m. March 13 and 6:30 a.m. March 14.

6A gym bag and its contents, valued at $115, were stolen from a vehicle in the parking structure of Wheaton Franciscan Services, 201 N. Mayfair Road, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 15.

7A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking more than 50 clothing and jewelry items valued at $2,548 from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:14 p.m. March 16. She put the items in store bags in a fitting room and tried to leave without paying.

8A female and three males were seen working together to take men's shirts valued at $400 from Macy's at 6:11 p.m. March 16. One man pulled a vehicle up to a door at the northeast corner of the building, a second man held the store door open while the third man held the vehicle door open and the female grabbed the items and ran to the vehicle.

9A male took a phone valued at $600 from U.S. Cellular, 2525 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:46 p.m. March 16.

10A purse and its contents, valued at $640, were taken from a baby stroller as the owner changed her baby's diaper in a restroom at Mayfair at 1:15 p.m. March 17.

11A a briefcase and its contents, valued at $470, were taken from a vehicle at Mo's Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, between 7 p.m. March 17 and 10:30 a.m. March 18. A window was broken to gain entry.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

12A 54-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 660 block of West Wisconsin Avenue at 11:46 p.m. March 17. The woman failed a field sobriety test and registered a 0.14 blood alcohol content.

VANDALISM

13A racial slur and "420" were written on the east side of the bridge in the 1600 block of Martha Washington Drive. The vandalism was reported at 5:55 p.m. March 12.

14Eggs were thrown at a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of West Wisconsin Avenue between 9 p.m. March 12 and 2 p.m. March 13. Damage was estimated at $200 to $300.

OTHER

15A 36-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for battery when she hit another woman in the Mayfair parking lot at 4:46 p.m. May 15. The 36-year-old reportedly became angry after the passenger in another vehicle pulling into a parking space "flipped her off" because she drove the wrong way down the same aisle.

16A 13-year old resident of Carmelite Home for Boys, 1214 Kavanaugh Place, was arrested for fighting with another resident at 9:14 p.m. March 15. The youth reportedly had been arrested three previous times for similar altercations.

17Four students - 14-, 15- and 17-year-old girls and a 17 year-old boy - were arrested for habitual truancy at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., about 10:45 a.m. March 16. Police said each youth had generated 17 unexcused absences.
