BURGLARY
1A computer was stolen from a home in the 1200 block of North 62nd Street between 4 a.m. Jan. 26 and 8:45 p.m. Jan. 28. The burglars used a chain-link fence from nearby construction to get to the window at the victim's balcony, cutting a screen to enter the home.
THEFT
2Two Milwaukee girls, ages 12 and 13, were arrested for taking $214 of clothing from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:05 p.m. Jan. 26. The 13-year-old said she stole the clothes to give to a bully in an attempt to dissuade the bully from beating up one of her friends.
3A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking two purses worth a total of $156 from Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:25 p.m. Jan. 26.
4Cash totaling $11 was taken from a room at Lutheran Home for the Aging, 7500 W. North Ave., between 4 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
5A vehicle's window was broken and a lanyard, school ID and $4 in currency were taken out of it at Discovery Clothing, 2857 N. Mayfair Road, between 12:40 and 12:53 p.m. Jan. 27. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $200.
6A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking $632 of jeans from the Buckle at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:22 a.m. Jan. 28. The Milwaukee woman had six warrants for arrest including three retail thefts and an aggravated assault.
7A purse was taken from the counter of Habaneros, 869 N. Mayfair Road, between 4:30 and 9 p.m. Jan. 27. The purse had $400 cash in it. Total loss is $800.
8Three men carrying bottles of liquor worth $99 ran out of Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., to a waiting van and drove off at 3:24 p.m. Jan. 29.
9A rental vehicle's window was smashed and a laptop computer was stolen from it at the Radisson, 2303 N. Mayfair Road, between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 30. Total damage is estimated at $1,750.
10A 37-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking eight cans of baby formula from Pick 'n Save, 6950 West State St., at 10:42 p.m. Jan. 29.
11Two Milwaukee boys, ages 14 and 15, were arrested for taking two bottles of liquor from Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., and for taking two bicycles from Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave., at 10:29 a.m. Jan. 30. The total loss is $604.
12A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking 12 items of jewelry worth $900 from Boston Store, 2400 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:28 p.m. Jan. 30. The man stated that he was homeless, on methadone and wanted to sell the jewelry for food.
13A 2004 Dodge Intrepid was taken from the east parking lot of Faith's Creation Christian Church, 4400 N. Mayfair Road, between 5 and 9 p.m. Feb. 3. The vehicle turned up in Milwaukee at 10:15 p.m. that day with damage to the steering column.
Police responded to two thefts of items valued at less than $100 this week.
ASSAULT
14A 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for punching another woman at Mo's Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, at 1:36 a.m. Feb. 3. She accused the woman of bumping into her without saying sorry.
DRUG POSSESSION
15Police arrested a 28-year-old Heartland woman for possession of paraphernalia after receiving a call about a woman screaming at Extended Stay, 1121 W. North Ave., at 6:20 a.m. Jan. 30. Police found a large rubber band and three empty syringes in the woman's pocket.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
16A 44-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for drunken driving after the owner of Mobile Gas Station, 3106 N. Mayfair Road, reported him running into a gas pump at 1:22 a.m. Jan. 27. His BAC was 0.17. Video showed he did not hit a pump.
17A 52-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after crashing into a light pole at the intersection of West North Avenue and U.S. Interstate 45 at 5:09 p.m. Jan. 31. The man asked a witness if he was going to arrest him, to which the witness replied that he wasn't an officer. His BAC was 0.25.
18A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after losing control and spinning around in the 7100 block of West State Street at 2:03 a.m. Feb. 2. He said he was driving his more intoxicated friends home. His BAC was 0.016.
19A 56-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after making a wide turn in the 2500 block of Swan Boulevard at 2 a.m. Feb. 3. His BAC was 0.169.
ACCIDENTS
20A 21-year-old woman was taken to Froedtert Hospital for back pain after a car struck her while she was crossing the road in the 8900 block of Watertown Plank Road at 7:40 p.m. Jan. 29. No tickets were given because the woman was wearing dark clothes and not using a crosswalk.
OTHER
21Three Milwaukee girls, ages 14, 15 and 17, were arrested in the 2600 block of Lefeber Street in connection to a strong-arm robbery that occurred in Milwaukee at 3:59 p.m. Jan. 26. The girls were walking with their hoods up and had a purse containing checks belonging to the robbery victim in their car.
22Two Milwaukee boys, ages 16 and 17, were arrested for prowling after an employee of Maytag Coin Laundry, 6707 W. North Ave., called police saying they were 'up to no good' at 7:13 p.m. Jan. 27. Police found the two and arrested them after finding a pellet gun and bandana on them.
23The manager of Mayfair Rent-A-Car, 1750 N. Mayfair Road, called police after the business received a faulty check of $768 from Brown Health Relaxation at 1:36 p.m. Jan. 28.
24A man found a driver's license and credit card that did not belong to him inside the door of his home in the 6900 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 10:33 a.m. Jan. 31. He tried calling the license owner but was unsuccessful.
A man called police after his email was hacked, causing his account to send a spam email to his contacts at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 31. He tried sending them an apology email, only to find they were deleted. He also noticed a request for a wire transfer of money from his IRA account, which was denied by his bank.
A Wauwatosa woman called police at 5:27 a.m. Jan. 1 after receiving suicidal statements from a Milwaukee man in response to a Craigslist ad she posted. Her ad was in regard to giving away cat litter. Police attempted to contact the man several times, to no avail.
25A brick was thrown through a window of CVS Pharmacy, 7520 W. Bluemound Road, at 12:38 a.m. Feb. 3.
Police responded to three domestic disturbance calls and two rescue calls this week.
