Rookie League

July 13 - Bullfrogs 4, Snappers 3: Two hits from Gabe Anguil, Will Cape and Michael Rentmeester helped lead the offense. Andrew Larson led the defense with two catches.

July 14 - Ironbirds 9, Muckdogs 8: Jonathan Copenhaver, Jack Osman, and Finn Somers each had three hits apiece and Osman and Somers each added an RBI. Elliott Oquist, Jake Long, Henry Elliot, Memphis Van Engen, Calvin Schwake each added two hits, while Elliot, Van Engen and Schwake all had an RBI each. Michael Zidanic, Aidan Marlier and Adam Soczka all had a hit apiece with Marlier adding an RBI. Trevor Schmitt-Ernst and Collin Oquist both had three hits, Schmitt-Ernst had two RBIs and a great defensive out. C. Oquist had two great plays on defense, and drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth to highlight the comeback.

July 15 - Bullfrogs 7, Blue Thunder 1: In a game played at Helfaer Field, Quinn Cepican, Kolby Boesel and Grant Matthai had big hits to help score runs, while Liam Porter hit a double. Gabe Anguil led the defense with a huge catch.

World League

July 14 - Sea Dogs 9, Stingers 5: Afternoon baseball at Helfaer Field was the setting for another Sea Dog victory. On the offense, Ben Acker hit an RBI single and Duncan West and Spencer Whitlock both hit singles and advanced the bases with steals to second and third. Rece Cepican and Whitlock added RBI doubles to the excitement. Jerry Neugent slammed an RBI triple. Outstanding defense was displayed by Acker, Bobby Ball, Neugent, Noah Newman and Whitlock.

July 15--Sea Dogs 7, Riversharks 5: In the Sea Dogs' final regular season game, Jerry Neugent smashed a solo home run. Spencer Whitlock hit a double and Ben Acker increased the scoring drive with a double and two RBIs. Will Baran had two singles and Bobby Ball hit an RBI single. Rece Cepican, Danny O'Shea, Acker, Ball, Molly Belknapp, Duncan West and Noah Newman all had walks.

July 18: Surf Dawgs 4, T-Bones 3: The Surf Dawgs were down 3-1 at the bottom of the sixth and the bottom their batting order tied the game at 3-3. That forced the game into a seventh inning. With runners in scoring position, pitcher Brady Ingbretson was able to get three strikeouts and keep the game at 3-3. In the bottom of the seventh, Michael Koch got on base with a walk. He stole second and advanced to third on a hit by Noah Monty. Jimmy Fuhrman was then up to bat and hit a comebacker to the pitcher. The pitcher threw to first instead of home and Michael Koch scored the winning run.

American League

July 11 - Red Sox 7, White Sox 5: With temperatures hovering around 90 degrees, the Red Sox and White Sox played a hard-fought game with good defense from both teams. Red Sox pitcher Charlie Klein pitched two shut-out innings and struck out five batters. Danny Kuehn hit a double in the sixth inning, helping the Red Sox go on to the win.
