Wauwatosa East sophomore Katie Salmon was recently named the Red Raiders' Most Valuable Player.
The Most Improved Award went to senior Katherine Oleniczak, the Coaches Award went to senior Emily Jensen and the Team Defensive Player of the Year Award went to junior Alayah Walls at the team's banquet March 21.
The Greater Metro Conference All-Conference Awards also were announced.
Salmon earned high honorable mention, Jensen received honorable mention and five Red Raiders earned the GMC Scholar Athlete (four-year 3.5 GPA or above): Oleniczak, Jensen, Lydia Taylor, Maddie Packard and Daisy Wedel.
