WAY TO GO, VINNY

Wauwatosa East senior wide receiver Vince Cupertino became the Red Raiders' career reception leader Friday night when he caught five passes against Brookfield Central, giving him a school record 96. Vinny had 91 receptions coming into the game, trailing former Tosa East wide receiver Barett Powell by one. Four catches in the season finale against West Allis Hale on Friday would give him 100 for his career - a nice round figure. What makes the record even more impressive is that he played this year with a cast on one hand for five weeks and a broken finger on the other.

4Cross country meet championships this season for Wauwatosa West junior Patrick Campbell. The Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational on Saturday was his latest victory.
