I hope to be at the Wauwatosa East boys basketball opener on Friday at East when coach Tim Arndorfer gets set for another season. The Red Raiders open against West Allis Central and new coach Dave Mlachnik, who came over from the girls team. Bulldogs to watch: Junior point guard Jarvis Garrett and senior Najeal McMillian, a 6-5 forward, were second-team All-Greater Metro Conference choices last year.
6 Players from Wauwatosa earned honorable mention honors on the NOW Newspapers All-Suburban team, led by Reggie Cole, Jr. of Wauwatosa West, who made High Honorable Mention.

I have a feeling this young man will be in this section often this year - Wauwatosa West freshman guard Andre Carroll. He scored 19 points in two games at the Fort Atkinson Thanksgiving Tournament and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
