After taking some time off, the Woodland Conference Girls Swimming Meet is set for Saturday at Greenfield. West Allis Central will travel to Wauwatosa West for a first-round boys volleyball match at 7 p.m. Look for a Tosa West at Tosa East second-round matchup here. Five runners will be at the WIAA State Cross Country Meet at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids. The fall is coming to an end for the local student-athletes.
9 Years (2003) since the Wauwatosa East boys volleyball team won the Greater Metro Conference Championship. They beat Marquette on Oct. 17 at home to finish first with a 5-0 record. Congrats to coach John Simon, his staff and his team. They are the top-seeded team in their bracket.
