HOPING TO END STREAK

The Wauwatosa East football squad has now lost 24 conference games in a row going back to Oct. 10, 2008, when they defeated West Allis Central, 42-38, on the road. The last home GMC win came the week before, a 37-35 win over Brookfield East. The Red Raiders host West Allis Central on Friday at 7 p.m. at Hart Park. It is a winnable game and would mean a lot to this team.

96 points scored for the Wauwatosa West football team in its' first two games, an average of 48 points per game.

Picking up where she left off in the spring track season, Wauwatosa East junior Natalie Schudrowitz won the Homestead Highlander Classic on Friday at Tendick Park. Schudrowitz won in a personal record 15 minutes, 19 seconds, finishing ahead of Abby Pech of Shorewood (15:36) and Talia Spiegelberg of Wisconsin Lutheran (15:36).
