MAKING PROGRESS

The Wauwatosa East softball team scored 13, nine, three and five runs in the Red Raiders' last four games. That's 30 runs in four games. That was usually a month's worth of runs for the Red Raiders. The bad news is all those games were losses. One step at a time. If the defense improves, it can do nothing but help the pitching.

2 Meet records were broken by the Wauwatosa East girls track and field team at the Vikings Invitational Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran. Claire Gordee set one in the 200 meters (25.92) and Natalie Schudrowitz had the other in the 3,200 meters (11:14.47).
