Several local athletes at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Several Wauwatosa athletes played at Wisconsin Lutheran College this fall.

Sophomore Travis Heyer and freshman Matt Schmidt are members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College soccer team. Travis, son of Dave and Kim Heyer, plays defender, and Matt, son of Daniel and Shelly Schmidt, plays midfielder for the Warriors.

Raven Kostrzew, a freshman, is a member of the soccer team. She is the daughter of Kurt and Rachel Kostrzewa, and plays midfielder for the Warriors.

Wisconsin RAP Club basketball tryouts on Nov. 4

Wisconsin RAP Club Basketball has set tryouts for Nov. 4 at West Allis Central.

HLC set boys-girls tryouts for AAU basketball teams

Higher Level Basketball Camps has set tryouts for boys and girls AAU fourth to 11th-grade traveling teams.

HLC is an off-season basketball program for players who desire to take their game to the next level, focusing on quality over quantity, equal playing time and assisting each player as they develop an inside game, outside game and in-between game.

Tryouts are set for 10 a.m. Nov. 17 at the Greenfield High School Hawks Dome, 4800 S. 60th St.
