Fall Home & Remodeling Show Announces Advance Tickets Availability

Advance tickets for the 21st Annual Milwaukee/NARI Fall Home & Remodeling Show are available now through Thurs., Sept. 15, at locations throughout the Milwaukee area.

 

The Show will be held Fri., Sept. 16, through Sun., Sept. 18, in the Wisconsin Exposition Center at State Fair Park in West Allis. Sponsored by the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc., celebrating 50 years as the area’s leading home improvement and remodeling industry resource, this year’s Show theme is “Great Ideas Start Here.”

More than 325 booth spaces in Hall A of the Wisconsin Exposition Center, with admission to the building through the north entrance, will feature providers of home improvement and remodeling products and services, including design/build, kitchens, decks, cabinets, windows, wall covering, bathrooms, lighting, landscaping, roofing, painting, fireplaces, and more.

 

Special attractions at the event will include the Time Warner Cable Relaxation Station and Digital Express Unit, the Milwaukee/NARI Information Center featuring a display commemorating Milwaukee/NARI’S 50th anniversary, the “Future Trends” display, The YMCA In-Home Exercise display, a Kids Zone, and much more.

 

In addition, daily educational presentations and demonstration by home improvement specialists, design celebrities, and cooks preparing their favorite recipes will take place. Special guests this year are Taniya Nayak of HGTV’s “Designed to Sell,” presented by Malkin’s Carpets/Mohawk Flooring and Chad Crittenden, “Survivor” Season 9 contestant.

 

Throughout the day on Fri., Sept. 16, Milwaukee/NARI members will conduct 20-minute presentations on a variety of topics pertinent to homeowners, including How to Select a Contractor, Interior Design, A/V Technology, Organizing, the Roofing Installation Process, and Window Options.

 

On Fri., Sept. 16 from 7:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. and Sat., Sept. 17 from 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m., Joe Richter, Milwaukee vocalist, guitarist, and pianist, will perform an acoustic set of music from the Fall Show Demonstration Stage.

 

New hours in 2011 are as follows: Fri., Sept. 16: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat., Sept. 17: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sun., Sept. 18: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Admission is $5 in advance, and $7 at the door. Tickets for seniors, 60 and older, are $5.00, with a special price of $4.00 for seniors at the door on Fri., Sept. 16 for Callen Construction Senior Day. Children 12 and younger are admitted at no charge. Free admission for two people will be provided to those that participate in the Fall Show Blood Drive coordinated by the Blood Center of Wisconsin between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 16, at the north entrance of the Wisconsin Exposition Center.
