Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Performs at Alexian Village

Milwaukee, Wis. 1/11/2012 - The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performed two spectacular Christmas shows at Alexian Village on Sunday, December 18, 2011, as part of the MSO’s Hometown Holiday Tour. They performed an 11:00 a.m. show for the Autistic Society and Down Syndrome Society families and friends followed by a Christmas celebration and visit from Santa Claus, which Alexian Village hosted. An afternoon MSO performance was presented to an enthusiastic audience of 235 Alexian Village residents and Club Alexian members.
“We were delighted to use the facility at Alexian Village, and we thoroughly enjoyed the concert in this very family-friendly environment,” said Emily Levine, Executive Director for the Autistic Society. “Without the support of Alexian Village, this wonderful event would not have happened for our families.”
Committed to bringing the joy of classical music to the people of Wisconsin, the MSO brings inspiring music to individuals throughout the Milwaukee area who need it most with its Hometown Holiday Tour. Support for the Hometown Holiday Tour is provided by Patrice L. Bringe and Mr. Richard Blomquist.
