UW-Waukesha’s SMART Program Announces Spring 15-week and 7-week Course Sessions

WAUKESHA –The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha’s new SMART (Start Making Your Adult Reinvention Today) program is designed to provide better educational opportunities for working adults. The SMART program, aims to fill a void for students who want to attend college but do not fit into the traditional 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. class format.

Through SMART, students can earn their associate’s degree with an emphasis in business in one year, in seven-week and three-week course sessions. Enrollment for SMART Winterim courses is underway and classes are set to begin this spring. One 15-week format session runs January 25-May 14, 2013. Two 7-week format sessions run from January 25- March 14, 2013 and March 29- May 16, 2013. Classes begin at 6:00 p.m. on two weekdays and at 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays. Placement and Orientation dates have also been scheduled.
Classes will be held at County Inn & Suites, 1250 S. Moorland Road, off Interstate 94 in Brookfield.

The SMART program is also offering additional course options in the 15-week format held at UW-Milwaukee County Cooperative Extension, located at 9501 W Watertown Plank Rd, Bldg A, Wauwatosa, WI 53226-3552.
