Come celebrate Earth Day in Elm Grove!
Enjoy an award-winning documentary “Green Fire” about Wisconsin’s own Aldo Leopold while your children (ages 4 and up) are busy with the storytime and take-home gardening activities. Children will be able to plant a seed and a flower, decorate a clay pot (and take all of it home!), see different stages of composting and listen to a story by a professional storyteller written just for this event. Adults will enjoy a movie about Aldo Leopold. Considered by many as the father of wildlife management and of the United States’ wilderness system, Aldo Leopold was a conservationist, forester, philosopher, educator, writer, and outdoor enthusiast.
All adults will also receive a coupon for a free plant from the Beautification Committee.
