Pro Resume Center, LLC

Former Wauwatosa reporter launches resume writing/interview coaching services company with partner

June 3, 2014

Milwaukee, Wisc. - Janice Burch, Wauwatosa, and Barry Breit, Milwaukee, have formed a new Milwaukee-based company with a national reach - Pro Resume Center, LLC (www.ProResumeCenter.com).

The company provides resume and LinkedIn writing services as well as interview and career coaching services to help job seekers get noticed, get the call and nail the interview.

Unlike many online-based resume service agencies, Pro Resume Center, LLC builds in personal consulting sessions with each resume service purchase to better understand each applicant’s unique needs and challenges, and provide sound, honest, strategic advice toward the client’s search goals. Using online venues like Google hangouts and Skype helps the company connect with clients and give them one-on-one coaching time to address job search or resume challenges.

Breit and Burch say the personal attention with the one-on-one interviews as well as their competitive pricing makes the services more affordable while providing high value for job seekers at every career stage.

“Our business model was set up with incredible efficiencies to help us keep our costs down while still providing a totally custom and personal experience and outcome for each client,” Breit said. “From their first contact, to the questionnaire they fill out online, to the personal online meetings, our new clients are telling us this process works better than any other similar service they have used.”

Breit brings over a decade of five-star sales experience along with extensive hiring, training, team building and project management to the business. He also spent several years as a consultant helping businesses identify strengths and weaknesses, providing direction on turning losses into profits. Breit’s major role with Pro Resume Center includes identifying strategic partnerships with job placement and talent acquisition professionals to augment career search services for their clients.

Burch is a former news journalist (former name Kayser) with dozens of national and state writing awards to her name. She spent more than 10 years working for Journal Communications with her primary beat in Wauwatosa. She also holds a communications-focused background including several years as a senior level public relations executive at one of the largest ad agencies in the Midwest and executive marketing roles for graphic design and video production companies. In addition, Burch has created success stories for many clients, having prepared hundreds of resumes for the job seeker at every level. Burch serves as the lead resume writer/career coach and also trains and manages the writing staff.
