Wauwatosa parents and mentors: Would you enjoy guiding, modeling and mentoring teens with ideas about how to make Wauwatosa an even better place for youth? Consider joining the Wauwatosa Youth Commission (WYC) and becoming a sounding board for Wauwatosa teens as they voice their ideas, serve our community and develop leadership skills.
A few of the activities that are organized by the WYC are the 5th grade dance, middle school dances, high school new voter registration, Mock School Board, fall clean-up project at Kyle's Korner, Concert for a Cause and other community service events. To share your time and talents with Wauwatosa youth who want to make a difference, follow this link to the WYC application. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1e8kLX7B_NS0OZ_EuFgHpJnum0nY8Ypax-MdYZ92XPmg/viewform
More information about the WYC is available on the city of Wauwatosa website under "Boards, Committees and Commissions." Questions can be addressed to Andrea Harris, membership chair, at andreah@wi.rr.com.
