Sara Dondlinger and Alan Schroepfer of St. Paul were married Sept. 11, 2010, in Stillwater, Minn.
Parents of the bride are Peter Dondlinger of Sussex and Patricia Steininger of Wauwatosa.
Parents of the groom are Kenneth and Barbara Schroepfer of St. Paul.
The setting of the wedding was an old renovated mansion, so in that theme the bride wore a gown of beaded, off-white satin. She carried a bouquet of wine-colored calla lilies and white orchids.
Kjersti Moline officiated the ceremony. A reception at the Outing Lodge at Pine Point in Stillwater followed.
Matron of honor was Heidi Dondlinger of Bayside, the bride's sister-in-law.
Bridesmaids were Lori Andrus of Green Bay, April Schroepfer of St. Paul and Nichole Schroepfer of St. Paul.
Best man was Dennis Harlander of St. Paul, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Brian Dondlinger of Bayside, Scott Schroepfer of St. Paul and Brian Schroepfer of St. Paul.
The bride earned her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota in 2001. She then attended the Windemere Institute of the Healing Arts in Dekorah, Iowa, and became certified in 2007. She started her own healing practice, Santosha Healing Arts Center.
The groom attended the Maui Academy of the Healing Arts in Hawaii and was licensed in 1998. He trained at the Institute of Thai Massage in Chaing Mai, Thailand, and has been teaching Thai massage since 2002. He also earned his master's degree from the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in St. Paul in 2010. He plans to open a practice in acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapies in Maui.
The couple planned a two-week honeymoon in Costa Rica.
They reside in St. Paul but will move to Maui in January 2011.
