Lindsay Michuda and Patrick McNamara of Wauwatosa were married Aug. 20, 2011, at Gesu Church on the Marquette University campus in Milwaukee.
Parents of the bride are Mike and Kathy Michuda of Brookfield. The groom's parents are Richard and Carol McNamara of Shoreview, Minn.
The Rev. Patrick Dorsey officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.
The bride wore a gown with a strapless empire bodice, rouched waist and front broach. She carried a bouquet of red and orange roses and yellow calla lilies.
Katie Rogers of Blacksburg, Va., sister of bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Susie Moeschler of Rochester, Minn., Traci Diciaula of Long Beach, Calif., Alison Graettinger of Milwaukee, Erin Ray of Dallas, Texas, Julie Mullen of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kristie Witherow of Wauwatosa, and Michelle Martin of Denver, Colo.
Bill McNamara of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Danny Michuda of Greenfield, Tommy Michuda of Brookfield, Charlie Sadder of St. Louis Park, Minn., David Sadder of Washington, D.C., Patrick McGroarty of Joannesburg, South Africa, Ryan Carr of Homer Glen, Ill., and Steve Peichel of Monticello, Minn.
Paige Moeschler of Rochester, Minn., niece of groom, was flower girl.
Henry McNamara of Inver Grove Heights, nephew of groom, was ring bearer.
The bride earned her bachelor's degree in communication studies and elementary education from Marquette University. She is a second-grade teacher at Capitol West Academy, a charter school in Milwaukee.
The groom earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, his master's degree in environmental engineering from the University of Texas, and his doctorate in environmental engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is a postdoctoral research fellow at Marquette University.
The couple planned a one-week honeymoon in Oceanside, Calif.
The two met at Marquette University. They volunteered as adult English as a Second Language teachers through the Minnesota Literacy Council.
