Wauwatosa East High School names eight valedictorians among 2016 graduates

Graduates of Wauwatosa East High School walked across the stage Saturday, June 11.

The school graduated 295 students that day. Speakers included students Claire Manske, Benjamin Koenigs and Donovan McBride.

Valedictorians included Sophie Dion-Kirschner, Jordan Hoffland, Samantha Jensen, Kayla Klein, Benjamin Koenigs, Rachel Raasch, Madison Sawyer and Calvin Spolar. Zoey Schertz was named Salutatorian.

A long list of students received scholarships and awards. Among them was Outstanding Female Athlete Samantha Jensen, Outstanding Male Athlete Ryan Kelnhofer and U.S. Army Student Athlete Scholar Award winners Samuel Potter and Celia Ripple.
