HGTV’s House Hunters Returns to Southeastern Wisconsin to Feature Flat Rate Home Services’ Employee

May 21, 2015

New Berlin, WI, May 20, 2015: AJ Fink, manager of Flat Rate Home Services, a family-owned and operated plumbing, heating and cooling company in New Berlin owned by his father-in-law, began filming with the popular HGTV show, House Hunters, last month. On June 4th, House Hunters will be returning to present Brookfield area homes to AJ and his wife, Jamie.

“Jamie and I both grew up in Brookfield. We want to move our family back to ‘where it all started’,” said AJ.

When the family of 7 outgrew their condo, they began searching for a new home and, on a whim, Jamie wrote in to HGTV’s House Hunters.

House Hunters television show takes viewers behind the scenes where individuals, couples, and families learn what to look for and decide whether or not a home is meant for them. Focusing on the emotional experience of finding and purchasing a new home, each episode of House Hunters shows the process as buyers search for a home.

While the family has been in their new home for a few months, they can’t tell you where it is just yet. Buyers pick out their new home long before the film crews and production team show up. They do, however, choose one of the three homes showcased on the half-hour long television show segment. The episode is scheduled to air in late summer/early fall 2015. Viewers can tune in to HGTV to catch this local family as they plant new roots.
